A boring workshop

A project I made with Marion Kadiz from Paris, during our stay in Estonia. We followed a workshop of two swedish designers (Peter Ström and Matthias Kreutzer) which was called ‘a boring workshop’. We had to choose a course from our highschool which we found boring. Ofcourse for the both of us this was maths! During this workshop we learned how to change something really uninteresting into something that you can enjoy.
First we just started taking pictures from our environment, in this case the city of Tallinn. We tried to make a story with this pictures. So we came up with the idea to tell the story threw an equation. So first we made a real equation (which was hard for us!) and replaced the letters with the pictures. Like in an equation you can be creative with positive and negative numbers and delete or change parts.
So in the end we tell a love story of a woman and two men…watch and understand.
